| The Vink lifting hoist, is a lifting device for cows, so that the farmer can save a cow that cannot stand. This simple device is light weight and easy to use. The device is adjustable for a comfortable fit around the cows pin bones. The double direction spindle thread gives fast closure and release as well as ensuring that the heavy duty shackle loop is always located in the centre. The handle is removable to prevent damage and injury and can be located on either side of the hoist. |

How to use the Vink lifting hoistBring the apparatus around the hips of the animal and turn the spindle tight. Lift the animal slowly up so that it can stand up easily. As soon as the animal is standing, take the tension off the cable. Now the apparatus will hold the animal so that it does not fall sideways. It is constructed so that with proper use, it will not cause bruising around the hipbone. It does not make sense to put animals in the apparatus for a longer time, if they cannot stand up at all. It is important to turn these animals every three hours on their other side. |
